At Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary, Helen met the famous Mona monkeys before continuing to Wli Waterfalls, the tallest waterfall in West Africa. Surrounded by lush forests and dramatic scenery, Wli remains one of Ghana’s most unforgettable natural attractions.
The experience also included time with local fishermen at Kpando Torkor, where traditional fishing techniques and community life offered insight into a way of life passed down through generations.
In Kumasi, the cultural heart of Ghana, the journey explored the art of Kente weaving in Bonwire and the rich history of the Asante Kingdom at Manhyia Palace Museum.
The final days brought travelers to Ghana’s western coastline, where Busua Beach, Nzulezu Stilt Village, and Cape Three Points showcased the country’s breathtaking coastal beauty.
